The Problem with Chocolate

The problem with chocolate

is that it's hard to resist

After one bite

another insists!

"Out of sight, out of mind"

the saying goes

but "out of sight" is cruel

the fickle mind rules

"Just one more piece

and then I'll stop"

every chocoholic utters

with fingers crossed

One of life's great pleasures

is held in the fingers

after taking a bite

the taste still lingers

"I try and try to give up

this pleasure

but for all my trying

the chocolate says

'Never'"
