That Tree is Dancing!

For Jesus

That tree is dancing
In the wind
In the rain
It's always happy
When the sun shines
and it is still
It glissens
It's leaf-lips
open and close
smiling
It teaches
to be even, steady
To enjoy that
that seems cold, wet
In all circumstances
to sit
expectantly waiting
patiently listening
acceptantly
to what comes next.
